•   You can insure your assets (fixed and movable) up to $200,000

•   To cover extra living expenses, you can choose coverage up to $100,000

•   Flexible options ranging from 5% to 25% for deductibles are now available

•   Increased options of up to $30,000 are available for upgrades that are required for building code

•   For breakage of personal property, new optional coverage is now available

•   For exterior masonry veneer (such as decorative stone or brick work), new and optional coverage is now available

Coastal Property Preparedness
Predictions from a climatologist for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory are that El Nino is due to hit the Californian coast hard after the New Year and continue into March of 2016. Mudslides, heavy rainfall, hurricanes and a chain of storms rolling off, one after the other is expected.

The California Coastal Commission has requested all coastal property owners to prepare and protect their property against the extreme storm conditions expected this wet winter. For further information on how to batten down your hatches and protect your property, please refer to http://www.coastal.ca.gov/climate/extreme-weather/el-nino/.

It takes 30 days for an Insurance Policy to be activated. Consequently, if you are inadequately covered, require to renew your insurance coverage or need a new insurance policy for Flood / Hurricane / Storm damages, now is the time to call your insurance company and ensure that you are covered, before it is too late. Once an impending storm is announced your insurance company will not cover you. Call Insurance by Allied Brokers at 650-328-1000 today.
